In Suwayda, kidney transplant patients are not only facing the consequences of the health crisis, but also an ongoing struggle to secure the essential medications they rely on to stay alive.<\/p>

In a humanitarian appeal received by Free Voice, a woman from inside Suwayda spoke about the suffering of patients who depend on continuous medication in large quantities, especially during the first months after transplantation, when their bodies become more vulnerable and sensitive to any shortage or delay in treatment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Testimonies indicate that some medications are no longer consistently available in hospitals, while many patients are forced to purchase them at their own expense despite rising prices, difficult living conditions, and challenges related to movement and access to treatment.<\/p>

The contributor explains that kidney transplant patients live in an especially fragile medical condition that differs from many other cases, due to weakened immunity and the constant need for medical follow-up and anti-rejection medications, making any interruption in treatment a direct threat to their lives.<\/p>

This appeal does not represent only an individual case, but the voices of patients and families trying to continue under complex humanitarian and health conditions, hoping their voices reach those able to provide support and assistance.<\/p>
