Human dignity and the right to life should never become matters of compromise.
In every crisis, it is not enough to ask: What happened?
We must also ask: What is the position that must not change?

At Malath, we believe that defending people does not end with documenting memory or recording testimonies — it begins with the clarity of the principles we stand by.
For this reason, we launched "Malath's Stances": a space where we express our ethical and human rights positions on issues that affect people and their dignity — grounded in constant values, not temporary reactions.

In this space, we affirm every person's right to life, safety, and dignity. We reject the targeting of civilians, violence, hate speech, and incitement —
regardless of the justifications, affiliations, or projects used to defend them.
We also believe that respecting truth and accuracy in documenting events is part of protecting people, especially in times of crisis. Information is not a secondary detail,
and trust is not something that can be easily restored once lost.

Opinions, affiliations, and political or religious readings may differ — but human dignity and the right to life should never become matters of compromise.
