July... One Year Since the Tragedy

July... One Year Since the Tragedy

A year has passed since the July events in As-Suwayda, yet memory has not closed its pages.
What happened was not merely fleeting news, but a defining moment that left its mark on a city still bearing its wounds.
The events left behind victims, homes exhausted by loss, and families whose lives were forever altered.
Caught between pain and resilience, As-Suwayda has held fast to its right to live and its demand for truth and justice.
On this first anniversary, July is not revisited to summon grief, but to affirm that the dignity of the victims is not preserved by forgetting — and that memory must remain a witness to what happened, so that such a tragedy is never repeated.

July... a year has passed, yet the cause remains alive, the wound unhealed, and justice remains a demand awaited by all who bear the scars of that day."
