In this piece, the artist does not narrate what happened through text. She lets color, line, and emptiness carry what remains in memory.
Two paintings, born from the heart of the experience, say what language sometimes cannot.
What the two paintings say:

A face that carries the imprint of what it witnessed more than what it tells. Eyes wide open to a memory that never left, and lines that seem to be gathering what shattered inside. The painting is not a narrative of what happened, but a trace left by the event on the human being.

The painting does not seek to explain what happened, nor to find an end to it. It captures the moment when pain becomes part of the features of both place and person — where memory turns into a silent presence that needs no words to be seen..
This is how some memories stay tied to us — they do not stop us from moving forward, but they remind us of what should not be forgotten.
